Building a Brand

Nathan Reddy, founder of Grid Worldwide Branding and Design, began giving brands meaning in 1990 at FCB, later joining TBWA/Hunt/Lascaris as Head of Design. He was a founding member of DDB in South Africa and of TBWA/Gavin/Reddy.

Nathan has rebranded and refreshed some of South Africa’s (and the world’s) most iconic brands, and has won and judged various awards, including Loeries (Grand Prix), D&AD, One Show Design and Cannes. He serves on the board of the Creative Circle and is the founder of the Brand Council of South Africa – formerly known as Think SA (The Design Council of South Africa).

He is the driving force behind Grid’s philosophy, ‘The world doesn’t need another brand’. #Makeitmeansomething
