Designing for the Environment

Pierre has been involved in South African architecture since 1990, having obtained his Masters in Urban Design at Oxford Brookes University in the UK. Back home, he is dedicated improving the quality of public spaces in Joburg’s CBD, Rosebank, Midrand and Sandton.

Pierre’s focus is on planning and designing the city that we want to live in through its collection of buildings, parks, streets and public spaces. He is a firm believer in creating interconnected relationships between buildings in order to maintain a high quality of public areas. ‘We need fewer trophy buildings, and more memorable spaces,’ he attests.
