Zodwa Kumalo-Valentine is the Mail & Guardian Arts, Culture and Entertainment Editor. She is one of 38 World Design Capital Cape Town curators who helped identify projects that offer tangible evidence of how design can improve lives and play a significant role, to be part of the WDC programme this year. Her career in media spans 10 years – she has worked on both international and local publications such as Marie Claire, ELLE, Grazia, DRUM and Independent Newspapers, and was part of the digital team that launched the content hub on Woolworths’ online portal. She has a voracious appetite for the web, social media, travel, fashion, art, music, food and design.
